This Privacy Policy explains what information AutomateX ("we", "us") collects when you use our website, log in with Discord, or purchase and use one of our macros, and how that information is used.
Information we collect
Discord account information
When you log in with Discord, we request only the identify scope. That gives us
your Discord user ID, username, and avatar — nothing else. We do not request your email
address or any other permission from your Discord account, and we never see your Discord
password.
Purchase information
Payments are handled entirely by Creem, our payment processor and merchant of record. We never see or store your card details. When you complete a purchase, Creem shares certain order information back to us so we can activate your license: the email address used at checkout, your license key, order ID, which product you bought, and its status (active, canceled, expired, etc.). That information is linked to your Discord ID once you log in and either purchase through the site or link a purchase yourself on your dashboard.
Cookies
We use a small number of strictly functional cookies: one that keeps you logged in, and a short-lived one used only during the Discord login process itself. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How we use this information
- To authenticate you and keep you logged in
- To link a purchase to your Discord account and show it on your dashboard
- To validate and manage your license and its device activations
- To respond to support requests
Third-party services we use
- Discord — for login. See Discord's Privacy Policy.
- Creem — for payment processing and license management. See Creem's Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts — this site loads typefaces from Google's font CDN, which can receive your IP address when a page loads.
We do not sell your information
We don't sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Information is only shared with the services listed above, as needed to provide the site and your license.
Data retention
We keep your account and license information for as long as your account exists. Purchase records may be retained longer where needed for accounting, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes, even after an account is deleted.
Your rights
You can ask us to access or delete the data we hold about you by contacting support. We'll act on that request except where we're required to keep certain records (for example, purchase history for tax purposes).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
